This itinerary has been especially designed for those who love peace and serenity. The lake Itasy, the “Lily River” and the Analavory Geyser, all in the area of Ampefy are the highlights in the first part of this tour, and the second part will be the exploration of the Alaotra Mangoro region, Analamazaotra National Park with its Indri-Indri, the largest lemur in Madagascar. The Channel of Pangalane boarded by typical lush vegetation will leads us to a remote area in the eastern coast of the island where hamlets and small Betsimisaraka fisherman villages are passed to join the nest of the dream, some parks and private reserves will be visited to spot the largest lemur and chameleon. In the end we relax on the Palmarium Beach.

Day 1: Antananarivo
You will be greeted by our staff in the airport of Ivato – Antananarivo and you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Antananarivo – Ampefy
After breakfast, we will drive head west to the region of Itasy following the asphalt national road. We will arrive in Ampefy around lunch time and in the afternoon, we will visit the village.

Day 3: Ampefy
This day will be dedicated to explore the region of Itasy. We start by driving to the “Lily Waterfall”, full of legend; the cascade offers a splendid and beautiful landscape. A small bath is possible with this mountain water, very limpid and very fresh.
After the waterfall, we can join the Geyser of Analavory, situated from a few kilometers in the north-west of Ampefy.

Day 4: Ampefy – Antananarivo – Andasibe
We will drive back to the capital and have lunch in a restaurant, after lunch we continue to the east side of the Island with a stop in the Private Reserve of Pereyras. Arrive to Andasibe, we will get the accommodation in the hotel. In the afternoon, we will get ready for a rewarding night walk where we can spot nocturnal lemur and other nocturnal reptiles and amphibians.

Day 5: Andasibe – Ankanin’ny Nofy
Today we will explore the Analamazaotra’s National Park where we can hear the peculiar call of Indri-Indri within a mile from where they are. After ,we’ll be transferred by motorboat to Ankanin’ny Nofy, the “Nest of the dream”. We will navigate the Channel of Pangalanes, boarded by aquatic plants.

Day 6: Ankanin’ny Nofy
The Palmarium reserve is unique and a true natural shelter for the Malagasy fauna and flora with its extraordinary vegetation species :orchids, pitcher plants in particular the folks, travelers’ palm or Ravinala. The end of the afternoon will be dedicated to a night walk in a small island to spot the Aye-Aye which is much endangered and very difficult to find but we can see it here.

Day 7: Ankanin’ny Nofy
Free day for optional activities.

Day 8: Ankanin’ny Nofy – Manambato – Andasibe
In the morning, transfer back to Manambato and drive to Andasibe. After lunch we visit the Vakona’s Lemur Island.
